4. The influence of the conditioning effect
To make pellet feed meet the demand of market competition, the quality of pellet feed must be ensured. The conditioning effect of materials before pelletizing is crucial, because it directly affects the yield and pellet quality of sawdust pellet machine, especially the water stability of special aquatic feed, which is an important indicator of bait. If the conditioning and maturation of material before pelletizing is not sufficient,



the water stability index is difficult to be guaranteed. So-called conditioning is the pretreatment of powder material before pelletizing. The powder materials to be pelletized are fully mixed with moderate amount of steam in the conditioner. In general, the conditioner used in the sawdust pellet machine is the single-layer and single-channel conditioner with short conditioning time and poor heat preservation performance, which is difficult to meet the increasing needs of conditioning. The utilization of conditioning equipment that is conform to the technical requirements can make the material fully mixed with steam in the conditioning device to achieve the purpose of material softening and starch gelatinization, which is conducive to the compaction and forming of powder material and the production of qualified products. At present, the STZG bait conditioner used in most of the domestic feed mills uses double belt sleeve with a long time of heat preservation and better heating and humidifying. The section number of conditioning drum can be installed as required, which can ensure materials fully meet the requirements of conditioning and improve the surface and inner quality of pellet, thus improving its resistance to water.
 
5. The use of the new ring die
Generally speaking, when using the new ring die for the first time, if its degree of finish can not meet the demands of pelletizing, then oily materials need to be used to grind the ring die. Add about 30% of emery (yellow sand after screening can be used as well if there is no emery). In the process of grinding, add sand material and increase the feeding amount gradually. Press constantly and observe the current changes of main motor and mold stripping finish of pellets. Once abnormal situation is found, the operator should stop and check the machine in time.After grinding for a period of time(about 20 min or so), if materials of the same amount are sent to the granulating chamber, current ratio decreases gradually and relatively stable with less volatility, then the operator can stop the machine and open the servicing door to observe the pellet discharging of the die. If the pellet discharging is uniform and more than 90%, then oily material can be used to replace the original oily sand materials prevent hardening of material in die holes. Besides, in order to ensure the normal operation of sawdust pellet machine, the new ring die and other accessories shall be purchased from professional manufacturers, because the quality of their ring die is more stable and reliable. Informal ring die would lead to the damage of transmission parts easily. Machine vibration and noise would appear as well because of the short of coaxial degree, which would reduce the production efficiency of sawdust pellet machine.
 
6. How to eliminate the blocking of die
It is difficult to clean up the die blocking caused by the power failure or other causes in the process of production, especially the die of small aperture. A lot of feed mills would drill the materials out with an electric drill, which not only waste time, but easy to destroy the die surface. One effective way is to boil the rind die with oil, that is to put waste engine oil in the iron oil pan, then put the blocked die in the oil with all the die holes immersed in the oil, then heat the bottom of the oil pan until there is a crackle of materials in the blocked die holes. Then, remove the die and install after cooling. Adjust the clearance of the die and roller and start the sawdust pellet machine according to the requirements of operation, then materials in the die holes can be removed quickly without destroying the finish of the die.
