How to improve the output of wood pellet mill

Generally, the production efficiency of wood pellet mill varies in a range, which is related to the maintenance of wood pellet mill as well as the proficiency of operation staff of the pellet plant. Each of these links in the production is important. The production efficiency of wood pellet mill declines if one link goes wrong. Here is how the equipment should be adjusted in the process of making pellets with wood pellet mill.


 
(1) The adjustment of the cutter of wood pellet mill.
Pellets of different diameters should have different length. The average length of wood pellets is 1.5 ~ 3 times of the diameter, and the length of wood pellets is adjusted by the distance of the cutter and the external diameter of the die. Lock the locking handle after adjusting and pay attention that the distance of the cutter and the external diameter of die should not less than 3mm in order to avoid collision of the cutter and die and damage to the cutter blade.
 
(2) The adjustment and correction of feeder speed.
The rotating speed of the feeder determines the conveying amount of feeder, so changing the speed of the feeder can effectively control the throughput of feeder and meet the processing capacity of the pressing chamber. While in the normal production of wood pellet mill, the capability of the machine would be influenced by many factors, such as material quality, steam quality, voltage change, etc. When one of the factors changes, the conveying amount of the feeder should also be adjusted at any time to make the wood pellet mill works in the normal state. The feeder is equipped with the electromagnetic speed regulating motor. Rotating the speed adjustment knob of the controller can change the speed of the feeder. In addition, the controller is equipped with a tachometer, which can show the speed value intuitively.
 
(3) The speed of the feeder should be gradual.
In the thirty minutes after starting the wood pellet mill, the operator must ensure the stable operation of the pellet machine. Do not adjust the conveying speed of quantitative feeder for the sake of the improvement of production. If the feeding material is too much at first, it would lead to vibration of the machine, even result in fracture of the safety pin. Accelerate the conveying speed gradually after the operation is normal to achieve the stable production efficiency.
