Maintenance of reducer and motor of pellet plant

Different kinds of reducers can be used in the pellet plant. According to the transmission type, it can be divided into gear reducer, worm gear reducer, planetary reducer and the combined reducer. According to the transmission series, it can be divided into single-stage and multistage reducer. According to the shape of gear, it can be divided into cylindrical gear reducer, cone gear reducer and conical cylindrical gear reducer. According to the layout form of transmission, it can be divided into the expanded, shunt and coaxial reducer. Then, how to choose the reducer from so many types?

Reducer is the independent closed transmission device between prime mover and working machine used to reduce the speed and increase the torque in order to meet the needs of the work. It is also called speed increasing gear used for speeding up in some occasions. (Get to know how to make quality sawdust pellets)
 
The choice of asynchronous motor models in pellet plant 
Three-phase ac power is readily available, so the power supply of pellet plant adopts three-phase asynchronous motor. Because the pellet plant has no special requirement on the motor, the most commonly used type Y series cage model three-phase ac asynchronous motor is used. It has the advantages of high efficiency, reliable operation, simple structure, convenient maintenance, low price, etc.
 
The maintenance methods of reducer and motor in pellet plant
1. Lubrication: the oil level of the oil pointer of lubricant reducer should be checked often. 18 ~ 22 hyperbolic gear oil is recommended to be used as the lubricating oil. Oil with large viscosity should be used in summer. Drain the oil after the operation of 500 hours for the first time. Then, change the new oil. The addition amount of lubricating oil should reach the safety oil level.
2. The oil level of the gear reducer should be checked regularly. Add lubricating oil if the oil level is lower than the specified position. Lubricating oil should be added frequently rather than excessively to avoid oil leakage. The machine oil of the gear box should be replaced after operation for 500-1000 hours, the other should be replaced for 300 hours.
3. Check the anchor and the connecting bolt often. It should be strengthened if there is any loose. The banding solid screw on the ring die should be tightened once per shift.
4. Remove the surface dust of pellet plant per shift.
5. Make an overhaul of equipment every six months or a year and replace the quick-wear parts. The maintenance of each equipment should be made according to the operating conditions.
6. The display lamp of electrical system, air switch and travel switch should be checked regularly.
