Introspection upon the lesson learned from Typhoon Haiyan

Typhoon Haiyan hit the Philippines dramatically, leaving more than 2500 people dead and millions of people relocated. The news about the storm Haiyan has been all over the worldwide media outlets. As we can see that the ravaged area in Asia covers the Philippines, Vietnam and South China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. Along with the seach and rescue work is under way in order, more and more people are thinking and reviewing the lesson learnt from the storm sweeping.

We cannot neglect the climate change and atmosphere alternation due to the human activities. Specifically, the destructive behaviors imposed by human beings. We stick to fossil fuel and rely on it excessively. But the powerful rainstorm Haiyan again warned us that we should seriously envisage the issue of climate change in a reverse manners. Because the degradation of our living conditions.
As we know the haze and smog haunting so many Chinese cities with China's capital city Beijing shroudded with the pollutant air for a long while. All the phenomena suggest it is right the due time for us to take action and protect our reliable home---the Earth.

But how? This is also the question raised by people. The explictly simple way is to change from our energy structure to use. To improve air quality and climate alternation, we should count more on renewable energy and clear energy. Many countries are doing utmost to upgrade the energy structure locally but actual actions are less done. A large amount of agro waste and even timber are directly burnt in so many areas such as the breaking news brought by BBC News about the notoriously exploited rainforest in Amazon, Brazil. As we can tell from the picture (courtesy of BBC News report), rediculous deforestation has been done which poses a huge threat to the Earth's Lung---rainforest. Those humiliations are still ignored by the wrongdoers.
We are supposed to capitalize on biomass energy in a recycling and sustained way. The Typoon Haiyan and Deforestation report about Amazon are indeed the grim lessons we should take.
