Rapid development of biomass pellet mill in China

biomass pellet mill uses waste material, sawdust, straw and other new biomass energies to produce fuel pellet which can be used to replace coal. The invention of biomass pellet mill is of great significance. In terms of environmental protection, as an alternative of coal, fuel pellet can effectively reduce carbon emissions; wood pellet does not contain sulfur dioxide which would cause air pollution, thus significantly improves the quality of the environment. Secondly, wood pellet mill can use straw to produce fuel pellet that not only increase the farmers' income, but produce a new industry, promote regional employment and economic and social sustainable development.

In the late 1980s, Sweden became the earliest European country to produce biomass pellet and followed by other European countries such as Finland, Denmark, Austria and so on. Biomass pellet mill in China has a late start, but develops in a rapid speed. Taking factors like the development of biomass in the earth and the increase of domestic energy demand, the consumption structure, the degree of dependence on foreign countries, greenhouse gas emissions and the development of rural economy into account, Chinese government should pay more attention to the development of biomass energy, the 13th Five Year Plan and the development of a period of time in the future to stop the declining tendency.

 

Biomass energy is an important route to optimize the energy structure and reduce the dependence on imports. To create biomass energy industry environment and the healthy development of the industry is the common voice of people with visions in the industry. The industry's proposal, standard of biomass energy and subsidies of biomass energy promote the rapid and healthy development of biomass energy industry.

1. Introduce biomass energy standard system, at the same time, strengthen the management and construction of technical team of biomass energy industry. Actively develop the market, downstream enterprises and related industries. Integrate the resources, optimize the structure and set up the market system to realize the healthy and orderly development of biomass energy industry. Chen Yong, energy research personnel of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and Chinese Academy of Sciences in Guangzhou, defined the standard definition of biomass energy industry: first, what is biomass energy; second, regulate the use of the technical standard of energy plant production technology, product standard and specification for biomass energy conversion so as to provide policy and legal support for renewable energy, technology innovation of biomass energy and lead the direction of technological innovation.

2. Gradually realize the transition from the project construction subsidies to the product. To encourage enterprises to sell the product and the excess capacity of compression coal, biomass energy consumption and subsidies for biomass energy users.

3. Enhance cooperation and communication between enterprises, schools and scientific research institutions and improve the level of industrial technology. At present, the domestic biomass pellet mill, biomass briquette machine and other production equipment have all realized their own production, the pellet fuel produced with high calorific value and less pollution to environment is widely praised by users!

Standard: the diameter of biomass pellet is generally 6 ~ 8mm,the length is 4 ~ 5 times of its diameter, broken rate is less than 1.5% ~ 2.0%, dry basis moisture content is less than 10% ~ 15%, ash content is less than 1.5%, sulfur and chlorine contents are less than 0.07% and nitrogen content is less than 0.5%. If additives are used, it should be agricultural and forestry products, and the type and quantity should be marked.
