How to Maintain Pellet Mill

Small Pellet Mill

Small pellet mill is a kind of special equipment which takes sawdust, palm, peanut shell and other crops as raw materials and compressed them into pellets. The pellets produced by this kind of equipment have big density, high heat value, combustion resistance. Due to its small volume, simple operation, it can be used for making pellets at home.



1.Change the lubricating oil of gear case at regular time,new pellet mills change oil after half a month operation, change oil every 1000 hours of continual operation later on,lengthen the useful life of gear case.

2. Iron and sundries have been removed from raw material, clean iron removal device every shift,avoid foreign matter entering the working chamber to cause pellet mill body vibration and pellet mill die cracking.

3. Prohibit overload production. In the manufacturing process, can't exceed pellet mill can withstand the producing capacity, otherwise motor damaged and accelerated wear of parts, shorten the useful life of pellet mill.

4. Adjust the clearance between flat die and pressure roller every shift. When pellet mill is blocked, you must ease off pressure roller, clear material in inner wall of flat die, adjust the clearance between flat die and pressure roller again, absolutely can't start forcibly, avoid the transmission parts and bearing guard damaged by suffering violent vibration.

5. Please carefully read the operation instructions before starting the wood pellet mill, and follow the professional technicians reasonable guidance. Once the malfunction happens, you should immediately shut down for inspection and maintenance.
