How to solve the problem of raw materials of pellet plant

Biomass pellet fuel production equipment includes successively connected sawdust crusher, drum type drying machine and extrusion pellet machine. A storage warehouse is set between the drum type drying machine and extrusion pellet machine for the conversion of wood material and detection for the moisture content of wood raw materials. After being crushed by the sawdust crusher, the wood materials are transported to the drum type drying machine for drying in order to control the moisture content, and then transported to the pellet machine for extrusion molding of biomass pellet fuel.

Biomass pellet fuel

The moisture content of wood raw material has great influence on the compression ratio of extrusion forming. If the water content is too high or too low, it is difficult to achieve the ideal compression ratio, which can further affect the combustion heat value, combustion rate and thermal efficiency of biomass wood pellet fuel. In order to ensure that the moisture content of wood raw material is well controlled, if it is too dry, it will need to be mixed with sawdust of high humidity. If the humidity is too high, then further drying is needed.In order to prevent the wood raw material in the storage warehouse from splashing, there should be a dust collector at the top of the storage warehouse.

Sawdust Crusher

A vibration sieve is installed in front of the sawdust crusher, including a screen and a aggregate bin located below the screen. The aggregate bin is connected directly with sawdust crusher discharge port through a conveyer belt. After screening large pieces of wood raw material on the net will be sent to the feed inlet of the sawdust crusher by a conveyor belt. Grinding process of wood raw material: the mixed wood raw material is transported to the vibration sieve, large pieces of wood raw material separated by the vibration sieve is transported to the sawdust crusher for crushing, and moves through the discharge port of sawdust crusher into drum type drying machine; after screening by the vibration screen, sawdust through the screen and gathers in the aggregate bin, the particle diameter of these sawdust has meet production requirements, and don't need for further crushing. They can be conveyed directly to the discharge port of the sawdust crusher, and flow together with the wood raw material been crushed to the drum type drying machine. Vibration sieve make preliminary screening for the sawdust, and delivers sawdust with qualified particle size  directly to the sawdust crusher feeding port, thereby reducing the feed rate of sawdust crusher and improving the grinding quality of large pieces wood raw material, improving the production efficiency and reducing energy consumption.

The screen is connected with the motor through the vibration shaft. On the upper part of the screen, there is a cyclone dust collector to prevent sawdust particles on the screen flying around. The screen is detachably installed in the upper part of the material bin. There are  through-holes with diameter of 0. 05-2mm or square holes with side length of 0. 05-2mm on the screen. The size of biomass wood material directly affects the combustion velocity and the thickness of calcination zone. In order to guarantee the fuel combustion and thermal efficiency of the biomass pellet, the size of wood raw material should be strictly controlled. The screen is detachably installed, the screen can be replaced according to different wood raw material particle size control requirements.

Drying machine

Drum type drying machine comprises a heating device, feeding device, drying device and dust removing device. The heating device includes a calcining furnace, a blower at the bottom of the calcination furnace and a hopper on the top of calcination furnace. The hopper is connected with the discharge hole of the extrusion forming pellet machine through a conveying belt to convey the biomass pellet fuel products as fuel. The biomass pellet fuel products in the discharging port of the extrusion molding pellet machine is conveyed directly through the hopper at the top of the calcination furnace into the calcining furnace for combustion and heating, on the one hand, it adjusts measures to local conditions, use local materials, with no additional heat source; on the other hand, it can also make specific detecting for the calorific value, combustion rate and thermal efficiency of the biomass pellet fuel products, so that real-time monitoring of quality and fluctuation of biomass pellet fuel product can be made.

Packing Machine

The feeding device is a screw conveyor, which is used for conveying the sawdust material to the drying device. The drying device is a rotary drum with the structure of shovelling plate. Dust emoval device is the cyclone dust collector in the top of the drum type drying machine.
