Main parts of pellet plant

The whole pellet plant is composed of the feeding system, mixing system, pelletizing system, transmission system and overload protection system. In the following content, we would explain it in detail for you.

1. The feeding system: the feeding system is the screw. It is equivalent to a screw conveyor, which is composed of the shell, screw shaft, bearing and motor. It has the function of conveying powder materials in the warehouse to the blender through the rotation of auger shaft.
2. The mixing system: the mixing system refers to the blade spiral. It is composed of barrel, blade, stirring shaft, bearing, gear reducer, motor, etc. Steam or molasses can be added in the mixing system, which plays the role of conditioning and mixing for the material. Therefore, the mixing system also is called conditioning system.
3. The main transmission system: generally, the main transmission has two kinds: one is the gear transmission type, the other is the belt transmission type.
Gear transmission type pellet plant is powered by the main motor. The gear shaft revolves coaxially with the motor through the coupling. Then, through the gear reduction, air shaft is driven to rotate together with the ring die of pellet plant.
Belt transmission type pellet plant is also powered by the main motor, the ring die of pellet plant is driven to rotate through the deceleration of belt pulley.
4. Pelletizing system: the main working parts of pelletizing system are the ring die and roller of pellet plant. The ring die of pellet plant has many uniform holes. In the pelletizing process, materials are pressed through the holes of ring die under the strong compression from the ring die and roller of pellet plant. Therefore, the ring die should have good strength and abrasion resistance.Common forms of die hole are straight type hole, stepped hole, outer taper hole and inner taper hole. The roller is used to press materials into the rind die of pellet plant for molding pellets. To prevent "slipping" and increase the force, friction increasing and wear resistance measures should be made on the roller surface.
5, The overload protection system: the overload protection system mainly includes the safety pin and friction disk.When there is a foreign body falling into the crushing chamber or material flow is too large, as a result, the pressure between the ring die and roller of pellet pellet exceeds the normal working pressure and the torque if the main shaft is larger than the normal value. Then, the safety pin would be broken (or the friction disk rotates) to touch the travel switch and send an alarm signal. The power supply would be cut off to prevent other parts of pellet plant from being damaged with the effect of the overload protection.

Rice husk pellets as a biomass fuel will ease the environment pressures caused by fossil fuel combustion. Comparing with the burning of rice husk, the burning of rice husk pellets is much more clean. The ash content is around 15 to 16 % when burning directly which will be largely decreased to 6 to 7 % when it is burned in pellet form.
