1. Select the die with larger aperture.
If there is no special requirement for the production of pellets, it would be better to select the die with larger aperture, because the smaller the aperture, the lower the yield, and discharging of material would even be uneven as well. If the diameter of pellets is required to be smaller, the raw material can be crushed as small as possible before making pellets, which would be helpful for discharging of material.

2. Adjust the gap between the ring die and the roller.
The gap between the ring die and roller is usually 0.1-0.3mm, and experienced operator can tell if the gap is suitable at a glance. When the gap is too small, the ring die and the roller would have friction, thus reducing the service life of the ring die and roller, and it would increase the power consumption as well. When the gap is too large, the extrusion pressure of raw materials would become smaller, resulting in low yield and low molding rate.

3. Using the conveyer for convenient and stable feeding.
The uniform feeding can bring the biomass pellet machine to its best state. Hand feeding is difficult to be uniform. If the feeding amount is too much, the machine would be blocked easily. While if the feeding amount is less, the equipment idles that would also affect the production and power consumption. These problems can be solved as long as equipping with a conveyer. It will not only save the labor force, but also make the biomass pellet machine more smooth.

4. Regular maintenance can improve the service life of machine.
