What should be noticed when using new pellet plant

Pellet plant is widely used for the production of biomass pellets with both agricultural residues such as rice husk, corn stalks and forest wastes like pinewood and beech with the function of crushing, mixing, pelletizing and cooling. Pellets produced by the pellet plant have smooth surface, less fracture, high density and uniform length. Then, what should be noticed when using the new pellet plant?

First of all, the operator had better not feed too many raw materials when using the new pellet plant, since the output of new pellet plant is generally lower than the rated output. For a wood pellet plant with rated output of 1 t/h, it can only produce 900 kilograms of pellets one hour in the beginning. After the running in period of pellet plant, the production will reach the rated output. Therefore, the users should be more patient and feed less materials at the beginning of the production.

Second, grinding of pellet plant. Since the newly purchased pellet plant is only tested by simple debugging so that the manufacturer only can ensure the normal discharge. After receiving the pellet plant, users need to running in the machine (actually any machine has a running in period). Reasonable grinding of pellet plant is very important before normal production. Because the ring die and roller of the pellet plant are heat-treated pieces, in the heat treatment process, there would be some burr in the inner hole of ring die, which would block the flow and molding of materials in the operation of pellet plant. Therefore, users should grinding the pellet plant reasonably in strict accordance with the instructions in the operation manual of pellet plant.

Third, smooth and cooling process. The roller in the pellet plant extrudes wood and other materials into the inner holes of the die and push the raw materials on the opposite to the front. Thus, the roller of pellet plant directly affects the shape of pellets. During the normal operation of pellet plant, the working temperature of the roller is extremely high, then timely and reasonable oil supply is needed at this moment to ensure the lubrication between each part of pellet plant. Effective cooling measures can prolong the service life of the roller in pellet plant, which can guarantee the production stability of the pellet plant.
