How to test the product of pellet plant

In the following content, we would talk about how to test whether the finished product of pellet plant is qualified or not. Although the quality of pellet can be seen in some cases, some users are not clear about the fundamental principle. Then, how to test the quality of pellet? Here are two ways to detect the quality of pellet fuel, please try to detect and have a look.

The moisture content of qualified pellet is less than 10%. The density is higher and the pellet is quite solid from the angle of mechanics. The first testing method is that put the pellet produced by pellet plant in a glass of water. If the pellet sinks, it proves that its density is high enough and the forming pressure is quite sufficient. If the pellet floats on the surface of the water, it shows that its density is lower with poor quality. From the mechanical point of view, its durability is poor and very easy to crush or become fine.

The second testing method is to weigh the container, which can hold at least 1 litre of water. Fill the container with pellet and weight it again, then minus the net weight of the containers. Divide the weight filled with pellets by the weight of the container filled with water. The calculation results of qualified pellet should be between 0.6kg/l and 0.7kg/l. The value could also be seen as the specific proportion of pellet. It is an important parameter, which indicates whether the pressure is correct or not when manufacturing pellet with pellet plant. The value of unqualified pellet would be lower than 0.6, they are very easy to broken, shattered and produce a lot of fine.

Above are the methods to test whether the pellet produced by pellet plant is qualified or not. If you are not sure whether the product of your pellet plant is unqualified or not, please test with the above methods. If there are question appearing in the test, you can contact us.
